I'm Moving To Medium


To those of you who have read my articles exclusively through Blogger.

It is coming up to almost 2 years since I began to write music reviews on Blogger, but I have also more recently been creating other articles on the publishing company Medium on behalf of the publishing company Lunazee, based in Amsterdam.

With this, I have been enjoying the opportunity to write on Medium, and have started to notice a great deal of self-improvement since I begun writing with Medium. As a result, I have decided to fully move to Medium, where I will be writing all of my reviews and other articles.

I knew that the last set of articles I would write on Blogger would be my seven mini reviews, but my lists for 2019 and the decade, will be on medium.

One of the flag-bearers of progressive metal, TOOL have blown the minds of listeners ever since they formed almost 30 years ago in 1990. But its only recently, that the band have made a bit of a splash after a nearly 13 year hiatus since their 2006 album 10,000 Days .  With the return of TOOL in 2019, came the entirety of their discography finally being streamable, and with streamers finally recognising the band, it would also be the perfect time to release a new album. Lil Nas X, 7 EP, EP Review

Lil Nas X 7 EP EP Review Listen on Spotify Listen on Apple Music The year of 2019 has presented us with quite a few innovative underdogs, but arguably the most prevalent of them all, is Lil Nas X. Responsible for one of the biggest guilty pleasure track of the entire year so far, Nas X quickly rose to fame with the unique blend of country and trap in the form of "Old Town Road". Part of me wishes that this track wasn't so overplayed, as it truly stands as an incredibly catchy bop (especially the remix with Billy-Ray Cyrus). My assumption was that "Old Town Road" was all that Nas X felt like he needed to leave his mark on 2019. However, I was pleased to find this EP, dropped by Nas X this Friday.
